VM600CT VUV/UV/Vis Monochromator and Spectrometer

VM600CT (background) pictured as a component of RamSpec-VUV Raman Spectrometer

  • High throughput f/5.4
  • Low astigmatism allows spatial as well as spectral imaging
  • Spectral range from 115 nm to 600 nm with 3600 G/mm grating
  • Holographic grating with high VUV efficiency
  • Can be easily switched from a monochromator to CCD-based spectrometer
  • Readily purged with Nitrogen or Helium for easy VUV
  • Can be pumped through entrance slit
  • Back-Thinned CCD camera options
  • Fixed or Adjustable slits
  • Stepper motor drive with PC-based controller and Labview-based SW
  • Labview drivers and code for integration into user SW

The Resonance Ltd vacuum monochromator and spectrometer packs great performance in a small package. The system can be coupled directly to a vacuum chamber through a 2.75" Conflat® style flange to observe processes in a vacuum system.  The standard VUV grating has high dispersion and exhibits high efficiency in the VUV and UV  regions.  Low cost interchangeable gratings can be used to extend the range in the visible and IR regions.

The system can be operated with a gas purge or evacuated allowing spectra to be obtained in the VUV  as well as regions in the IR where atmospheric absorption is high.
